Cut is the most important factor as discussed here.<\/p>\n<p>The &#8220;four Cs&#8221; of diamonds which are considered the most important grades and categories:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Cut<\/li>\n<li>Clarity<\/li>\n<li>Colour<\/li>\n<li>Carat weight<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Clarity<\/p>\n<p>Because Diamond is a natural substance it can form with flaws, blemishes or inclusions. For the best diamond it should have as few flaws a as possible. The number and size of inclusions or blemishes can effect the grade of the diamond. Most flaws are invisible to the naked eye but can stop light from reflecting perfectly off the cut surfaces of the diamond.\u00a0Diamonds are graded for clarity under 10x loupe magnification.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>F<\/strong><br \/>\nFlawless: No internal or external flaws. Extremely rare.<\/li>\n<li><strong>IF<\/strong><br \/>\nInternally Flawless: no internal flaws, but some surface flaws. Very rare.<\/li>\n<li><b>VVS1-VVS2<\/b><br \/>\nVery Very Slightly Included (two grades). Minute inclusions very difficult to detect under 10x magnification by a trained gemologist.<\/li>\n<li><b>VS1-VS2<\/b><br \/>\nVery Slightly Included (two grades). Minute inclusions seen only with difficulty under 10x magnification.<\/li>\n<li><b>SI1-SI2<\/b><br \/>\nSlightly Included (two grades).
